Stunning TV presenter, Emma Willis, has just released images for her new collection for high street giant, Next. The 43 year old has done previous collaborations with the superstore, but this new range features her first ever lingerie designs, and will be available to purchase at the end of September.
The blonde bombshell and mum of three looked carefree in the snaps of her posing in bra and briefs. And why shouldn’t she be? Her toned and enviable physique is something she has obviously worked very hard to maintain.
Last year the gym bunny posted a photo of herself after a heavy fitness session with celebrity trainer Rob Solly, who also counts Paloma Faith among his clients. She captioned it: “Twice in one week @rob_solly this is getting serious…”
Obviously these gruelling workouts have paid off, and this is clear to see in the shots of the star looking natural and smiley in her lingerie range. But Emma has not always been totally comfortable with her body. In May of last year, on fellow presenter Fearne Cotton’s podcast Happy Place, Emma revealed she was pressurised to slim down back when she worked as a model, aged 18 in Australia.
She said “My rational head was kind of going, ‘Oh, God. Oh, God. I need to lose weight,’ but I was living with a chef, and it was very difficult. I just kind of thought, ‘You know what? I just can’t be bothered’. I just kind of carried on eating.”
However, with her collections for Next the former Celebrity Big Brother presenter has made sure to cater to all different body types, with the underwear ranging from size 6 – 20. In a previous interview Emma laid out her priorities for her collections saying: “It’s not something that in my wildest dreams I’d ever thought would happen but I’m so grateful that it has and that I get to work with Next… I really hope that the range has a broad appeal for both age and size.”
The collection includes two-piece underwear set and bodies in navy and black. The pieces are adorned with either lace, cut out detailing or metallic trims.
Speaking about the design process The Voice star said: “I’ve had such an amazing experience working with Next so far and I’m so excited to be launching my first lingerie collection!
“It can be so hard to find lingerie that is stylish but also comfortable to wear, since having children I’ve stopped wearing underwired styles so the pieces we’ve designed are all soft cupped.
“I wanted to create items that you can wear everyday but also style up or down, using underwear as outerwear.”
The host of Celebrity Big Brother and This Morning has worked closely with her stylist Leah Binnacle and the in-house designers at Next to design the eight piece collection, which will be expanding in November.
