Honey badgers escape from their enclosure using anything from mud balls to rakes.

Record books describe the honey badger as the most fearless animal on the planet. Although barely a foot tall, they have a reputation for attacking just about anything – from venomous snakes to full-grown lions.

In South Africa, an eager scientist, a tenacious beekeeper and a patient conservationist all have a soft spot for these so called ‘bad boys’ of the animal kingdom, and each of them wants to discover if the honey badger’s bite really is as big as its hype.

  1. Holy shit I've never seen such intelligence in an animal. Scientist are always so fascinated with apes using a stick to get ants out of a hole in the ground but I think that the problem solving of thie animal here is far and beyond what most apes would be capable of or what do you think?

  2. Somehow I suspect that this Badger really enjoys this. It is like the badger is the Joker in Batman saying to the Zoo-keeper..”This is what happens when an immovable object meets and unstoppable force, I think we are destined to do this .. forever!”
