Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry, 24, has admitted to buying fake designer goods while defending Gemma Collins, 38, after she was snapped shopping in a counterfeit shop in Cheshire over the weekend.
Chloe, who recently split from her Geordie Shore co-star boyfriend Sam Gowland, 24, retweeted a Mirror Online article about The GC being snapped buying fake designer goods over the weekend. Chloe hit back at the criticism and revealed she does the same.
In the tweet Chloe wrote: “So f*** is she buys fakes! I gan to turkey for mine!” [sic]
The blonde’s honest tweet received more than 25,000 likes, 955 retweets and 113 comments.
And fans replied to Chloe’s tweet to praise her for her honesty. One wrote: “Yes Chloe who wouldn’t spend money on a few fakes if your saving yourself money.”
A second said: “Wherever you buy them Chloe, you always look a million dollars.” While another added: “F**king love this girl @Chloe_GShore never b****y change xxx.”
Chloe’s tweet comes after Gemma Collins was snapped on a shopping spree for fake designer goods at a lock up in a market at Manchester’s Bury New Road, which is deemed as Britain’s most notorious trading venue.
The GC, who owns her own label, was spotted by an onlooker in an under the radar store which sells bogus copies of designer items. She reportedly stunned onlookers as she bought several items at the indoor market nicknamed Counterfeit Street and asked which items were available in XL.
A source told the publication: “She was looking at fake Gucci and Balenciaga but ended up buying Fendi and Givenchy.
“She has so much money and she brags about her designer wardrobe on TV and Instagram yet she is buying knock-off stuff.”
Weeks before Gemma was spotted out shopping for the fake goods, Gemma was on a luxurious holiday in Saint Tropez and Cannes with Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward, 46, and her family.
The GC bragged about her glam holiday which included dining in the same restaurant as Elton John and the Beckhams and partying on a private super yacht.
The TV star also stayed at the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Rock, which has hosted a number of high-profile celebrities including Kylie Jenner, 22, and Spencer Matthews, 31. A room in the glamorous hotel can cost anything between £540 to £2,100 per room per night.
This comes after Gemma left fans in shock when she shared photos of herself crashing her car into a flower pot and blaming it on the full moon.
Sharing a series of photos of the incident, Gemma explained in the caption: “The FULL MOON is definitely affecting me already.
“I went from meditation sunflowers to smashing the glass on my car to reversing into a huge plant pot #fullmoonenergy #fullmoon …. what a day …. I always feel very strange around a full moon does anyone else.
“I want to hear your experiences swipe across to see the days events Friday the 13th tomorrow im staying in !!! Freddie K keep away.” [sic]
This weekend, The GC also celebrated eight years of her boutique in a proud post. Sharing a photo of herself stood in the doorway of her shop, Gemma wrote: “I’m so PROUD to stand in front of my BOUTIQUE TODAY I started this 8 years ago and I’m so proud to be the only one left standing.
“I take great pride in my boutique my passion for making women feel fabulous and confident.

Gemma was also on hand to promote Misguided during London Fashion Week this weekend.
The reality star dressed in a black lace top and neon makeup and travelled in a branded Rolls Royce to hand out Misguided vouchers across London.
Sharing a video of herself dressed up ad ready to go Gemma said: “Guys, I’m so excited to be going to London Fashion Week. Rocking Kim K vibes today, or more Khloe, she’s my favourite and I’ve got lovely neon eyeliner.”
