Amy Hart has been forced to deny that a theatre show she hosted on Wednesday night was full of empty seats.
The Love Island star made her presenting debut at a theatre cafe in London as she encouraged fans to sing along to show tunes.
With only limited tickets available, Amy’s biggest flans flocked to the venue to root on their idol, even getting to meet the 27 year old in the flesh.
But in footage from the event, a number of the tables inside the venue were seen surrounded by empty chairs.
Amy has denied that the night was a flop, maintaining that tickets for the event had completely sold out.
A spokesperson for the former air hostess told Mirror Online: “Last night was completely sold out and a great success.
“There likely would have been empty seats at times as not everyone was sitting down for the entire evening – there was lots of singing and dancing.
“All the tickets were sold, and everyone who paid for a ticket turned up. There were also times when people were on the stage having photos taken with Amy.”
Tickets for the event cost Amy’s fans just £5, with £3 made from the cost of each ticket going to the Mousetrap Theatre Projects charity.
Following the event, Amy addressed her 1.3million followers on Instagram to thank the small number of her fans that was in attendance at the gig.
She said: “I’m on the train so I’ve got to be quiet but thank you to everyone who came tonight. I had the best night chatting to you all, talking about musicals, let’s do another one real soon.”
Amy’s presenting debut came during a busy week for the musical theatre fanatic, which kicked off with her attending an Ariana Grande concert in London.
She couldn’t help but take a break from singing along at the show, posting an image of herself alongside a caption that seemingly takes aim at her ballroom dancer Love Island ex Curtis.
Posing in a gorgeous light denim sleeveless jumpsuit, Amy beamed as she stood in front of the arena’s empty seats, quickly filling up before thank u, next hitmaker Ariana took to the stage.
Underneath the image, the former air hostess took inspiration from Ariana’s hit song Problem, quoting the lyrics: “I’ve got one less problem without ya [sic]”
Despite attending the same event as former co-stars Amber Gill and Yewande Biala, Amy recently revealed she no longer spends time with any of the people she shared her time in the villa with.
One of Amy’s Instagram followers quizzed Amy on her friendship with her former co-stars, grilling her on the real reason she has distanced herself from the stars, as she addressed the rumours during a recent Instagram Q&A.
The fan asked: “How come you hardly hang out with any of the other Islanders?”
Responding to the question, Amy, who was seen wearing a stylish pair of sunglasses as she travelled in a car, responded: “Because I live in Worthing, so if I’m in London I’m working and if I have time off I’m in Worthing.
“I love them all dearly and I can’t wait to see them all. We’re all so busy.” Amy then flashes a grin for the camera as she attempts to put the rumours to rest.
Meanwhile, her former love interest Curtis was seen dancing with a mystery girl as he attended Gringos Bingo in Mallorca earlier this week.
A video shows the pair cutting some impressive shapes during the improvised dance as they boogie to some Latin American music on stage as the crowd screams in the background.
The star later went to a party with fellow former islanders Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk, both 24, who are currently on holiday in Mallorca. Belle shared a video of Curtis being reunited with Anton, where the pair can be seen talking and giving each other a big hug.
She wrote “Bromance” on the video with a heart emoji and tagged Curtis and Anton’s Instagram handles. Curtis then finished the night with Belle and Anton in a nightclub.
