Watching the latest happenings in the villa on her TV, Love Island’s Joanna took to her Instagram stories to share her reactions.
She watched as Michael Griffiths told the boys how he realises he still has feelings for Amber Gill now that Joanna has left.
Michael also told Jordan and Ovie how he avoided his former romantic partner Amber in the villa because he was coupled up with Joanna following the Casa Amor twist.
Reacting to the scenes playing out on screen, Joanna said: “I’ve had to pause the TV purely because for me being stand offish is more me having respect for those in the villa because the fact that someone else is hurting in there.
“It’s hard for me to watch this right now I’m not going to lie. Yeah…
Sounding tearful, she added: “In all honesty that was so hard for me to watch and right now I don’t have any words. It is so difficult.”
Speaking to the boys at the fire pit during Wednesday night’s episode, Michael says that he “actively avoided Amber” because Joanna was in the villa.
Michael says: “Now that Joanna has gone, it has given me time to think about things. I’m not saying I don’t like Joanna, because I do.
“But I feel like because Joanna was there I actively avoided Amber.”
He added: “Now Joanna has gone it’s given me time to think about things, and I realise I do like Amber. I feel like I need to do myself a favour and let her know.”
Jordan tells Michael: “I think if you did go back there, things would be so different.”
Another scene shows Michael speaking with Ovie by the pool, as he lets on that he may still have feelings for Amber.
Ovie offers Michael some advice as he says: “Don’t let your pride hurt you. Don’t fight yourself.”
The episode ended with Michael heading towards Amber during her chat with Greg to tell her how he feels.
Love Island airs on ITV2 at 9pm.
