  1. Do they grip on rocks even if there isn't much ice….going out on the southern AT and think currently lil patchy ice….worth trying? Calling for some freezing rain….

  2. Would it ruin treads on my lasportiva Wildcats to add then take off after winter? Thinking about getting microspikes but since I only get to hike maybe 2-3 weekend trips over winter in the south east I like the cost of the screws…
