Kady McDermott and Olivia Attwood have slammed Molly-Mae Hague’s claims that she went on Love Island to find a partner.
The 20 year old social media influencer was left raging during Wednesday’s show following a viewer tweet hinted that she had entered the villa for money.
The islanders were given the task of guessing which of their castmates viewers at home had written about.
One tweet read: “Nah Tommy deserves more than Molly-Mae she doesn’t like him, she likes 50k.”
She addressed her fellow islanders, telling them she only entered the villa for one thing, and she found it, pointing towards partner Tommy Fury.
However, series two contestant Kady McDermott took to Twitter to write: “Molly you didn’t come here for just one thing (love) let’s be honest. No one did.” [sic]
Olivia Attwood — who starred on the ITV2 show’s third series — commented: “I mean yeh I like her but that’s a stretch.” [sic]
Kady then replied: “She’s great but let’s not full on lie. We all wanted a freebie or a teeth whitening post deal.”
Following the task, Molly-Mae vented in the Beach Hut, saying: “Wow. I’m actually fuming. I’m annoyed because I just feel like to bring money into it, what am I meant to say? I’m speechless to be honest.”
She later told Maura Higgins and newcomer Arabella Chi how she’s feeling, telling them: “There were two digs about me playing a game.”
Outspoken Maura advises: “Stop caring. You are amazing, you are unique and there are so many jealous people out there. If everyone liked you, it would be weird.”
However, the challenge plants a seed of doubt in boxer Tommy’s head, with him asking the other boys if they think she is playing a game.
Anton told him: “It’s not for me to say, mate, it’s got nothing to do with me. You know what your relationship is like, it’s not for me to say.”
But Danny Williams tried to reassure his pal, telling him: “We’d tell you.”
Love Island continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
