Love Island bosses have signed up a hunky professional footballer for their epic Casa Amor twist, according to reports.
Dennon Lewis first hit headlines earlier this year when he was racially abused by his own fans.
The 22 year old is now believe to be preparing himself to touch down in Majorca to star in the hit ITV2 series.
A source told The Sun Online: “Dennon’s worked hard all season and can’t wait to kickstart his summer in the villa.
“He’s fit, athletic and charming and will ruffle plenty of feathers once he starts to mingle with the girls.”
The Falkirk FC striker previously spoke out about the racial abuse he suffered, which saw a fan being given a police warning for verbally abusing the star.
He said at the time: “I have never gone through a period like this in my life. I know that I will not and cannot stand for this.
“Never in a million years would I have expected to be subjected to racial abuse from Falkirk fans.”
The reports come after it was claimed that another footballer — England ace Ben Chilwell — has been left “furious” as he ex-girlfriend has signed up for the show.
Joanna Chimonides is one of the names tipped to enter Casa Amor when it launches later this week.
Ben, 22, who also plays for Leicester City, dumped stunning Joanna last year, but is reportedly fuming with her for moving on to the dating show.
A source told The Sun Online: “Ben has been left furious by her going on the show even though he dumped her at the end of last summer because he wanted to be single.
“They had stayed good friends until when she told him she was going on Love Island. She thought Ben was partying too much and he thought she was the right person at the wrong time.”
The insider added to the publication that Joanna had been approached by Love Island bosses when she was still in a relationship with Ben, but turned down the opportunity.
Love Island continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
