Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife Beth has died, age 51.

Announcing the sad new news on Twitter, Duane Chapman wrote: “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain.

“Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

Following the news, he was flooded with an outpouring of love from fans.

Beth Chapman has sadly died age 51

Beth was diagnosed with stage two throat cancer back in November 2017.

Despite having successful surgery, she was told last year that her cancer had returned. She began chemotherapy in December last year.

In April, she was rushed to hospital in Hawaii with “serious breathing issues”.

Duane had previously spoken out about his wife’s cancer battle, and revealed how the family was coping with what happened.

He said: “Faith is probably the number one thing in our lives, no matter what we’re faced with.

“Through this cancer episode, we had to drum up as much faith as we could. And the Bible talks about having faith as small as a mustard seed.

“And that’s not much… And I thank God that we had at least that much faith to get her through that.”

Days before her death, after Beth has been placed in an medically induced coma on Monday, Duane asked people to “say your prayers for Beth right now.”
