Rio Ferdinand has shared intimate photographs inside his adorable Father’s Day celebrations.
Giving fans a glimpse inside his family life, the former footballer, 41, shared snaps of his home adorned with blue balloons.
Showing people his Father’s Day card, which appeared to have been written by his fiancée Kate Wright, she jokingly signed it off from her dog Ronnie as well as his children.
In other snaps, Rio’s children can be seen standing alongside him, while a pile of beautifuly wrapped presents sit on the table.
Alongside the images, he wrote: “Special day with my special ones #fathersday.”
Rio’s post comes after Kate Wright exclusively opened up on her engagement to him in OK! magazine, saying they are “very equal”.
The former TOWIE star, who is set to wed Rio after he popped the question last year, candidly opened up on the relationship, saying it’s “her own fairy tale”.
When asked if her life is everything she would have imagined after she turned 28, Kate said: “I hoped I’d get married at some stage, so obviously I’m very happy and excited about that.
“It hasn’t panned out exactly how I imagined when I was a kid. Like most young girls I had the typical fairy tale in mind, but this is my own fairy tale. I can’t complain at all. I feel very lucky.”
Kate is taking on an important role as stepmum to Rio’s three children Lorenz, 12, Tate, 10, and Tia, eight, who lost their mum Rebecca Ellison to cancer in 2015.
Opening up on wedding planning as she prepares to tie the knot with the children by their side, Kate said: “I used to be an events organiser, and I enjoy it all. I even enjoy organising drawers and cupboards.
“It’s really sad, but I love doing it. It’s my idea of fun. I do like a bit of Mrs Hinch – she inspires me. I’m not sure my cleaning is as good as hers, but my organising is!
“I have started planning the wedding very slowly. I do think about all the small things, which I think will help make the day even more special. It’s more about those little details rather than the big things.”
