Kerry Katona has made her feelings about Jeremy Kyle and his sacking extremely clear.
The outspoken former pop star has defended her friend in the only way she knows how – by calling him a “twat”.
Writing in her new! magazine column Kerry explained why she is standing by Jeremy after his show was scraped by ITV following the death of a guest.
Kerry writes: “I’m a good friend of Jeremy Kyle and I’ve appeared on his show before.
“He’s always been lovely to me – although he can be an arrogant little twat! But I don’t think you can blame him or the programme for the tragic death of one of his guests.”
Despite her staunch defence of the TV presenter, Kerry did admit that the Jeremy Kyle show became exploitative of its guests.
“From what I experienced, it was a caring environment.
“I feel like it’s become a vehicle to mock lower class people with no teeth, who’s mental health problems aren’t always taken seriously.
“Now there’s a space in the ITV schedule, may I put forward a pitch for a sensitive talk show about mental health, presented by me?
“It would certainly make a refreshing change.”
