Cheryl is set to come face to face with her drag queen lookalike on an episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
The 35 year old singer has reportedly filmed an episode as a guest judge on the upcoming BBC Three show.
OK! online can exclusively reveal that among the contestants that faced criticism from the Call My Name singer is Cheryl Hole, a drag queen that portrays her in a Girls Aloud tribute band.
An insider told us: “Cheryl Hole is very well TV trained so when she came face to face with the real Cheryl, she was a great sport.
“Cheryl was so lovely with contestants on The X Factor and that was the same with the queens on Drag Race UK.”
Following filming for Drag Race UK, Cheryl Hole is heading out on a UK tour parodying Cheryl and the rest of her former bandmates in an act named Gals Aloud, after receiving blessing from Nadine Coyle when they supported her at a gig in February.
The source continued: “There was a concern with planning the tour because with Cheryl Hole on Drag Race she needed to spend a fortune on dresses, and it’s a risk that might not pay off.
“But anyone who’s met Cheryl Hole knows how funny she is — the British public are going to love her.
“She’s brought the Gals Aloud show to life with little skits all about Cheryl; it is mean but in an endearing way, which is how drag queens should be.”
However, the tour will still continue with dates in Glasgow, London, Darlington and Liverpool lined up.
“Cheryl Hole is such big Girls Aloud fan, I doubt she’ll stop gigging with the band — she lives for it! Even before she got into drag she was obsessed with Girls Aloud.”
A source previously told The Sun Online about Cheryl’s role as a guest judge: “Girls Aloud have had a massive impact on pop culture in the UK so telly bosses were desperate to get Cheryl involved. She jumped at the chance and recently visited the set to film as a guest judge.”
