Jack Tweed has opened up on his marriage to Jade Goody, 10 years after her death.
This week will mark a decade since Jade’s passing at the age of 27 following her diagnosis with cervical cancer.
The 31 year old has now discussed life with the late reality TV star, revealing he will never marry again.
Discussing their wedding day in an exclusive interview with OK! magazine, Jack said: “It’s still the happiest day of my life.
“She was 100 million percent the love of my life. Nobody has ever come close to Jade and I don’t see how they ever will. The pain of losing the person you love never goes away.”
Speaking about moving on with somebody else, Jack continued: “I’m never going to be as happy as I was with her so I don’t feel it will be fair if I get with someone else.”
Opening up honestly about how Jade’s death has affected him, he went on: “I live with a lot of anxiety and depression but I keep a lot of things to myself.”
Revealing that his best friend and groomsman Mark Wright has been a support over the last 10 years, Jack said: “We grew up together and Mark is so good with stuff like that, he always knows the right things to say.”
Jack also discussed how Jeff Brazier — the father of Jade’s two children — stopped him from seeing Bobby, 15, and Freddy, 14, following their mum’s death.
He said: “Jeff stopped me from seeing the boys. At that time, I was getting into trouble and I was off the rails — so Jeff was probably right to do that.”
However, he did reveal that Jade’s sons are now being reintroduced into his life.
He continued: “Now he’s seen I’ve sorted myself out, so he got in touch and said the boys had been asking about me. They came around to mine for tea and Jeff was there so it felt a bit like an awkward first date!”
