The Mummy Diaries star Billie Faiers has exclusively opened up about her lavish honeymoon with husband Greg Shepherd.
The gorgeous couple tied the knot in The Maldives this month, and spent a romantic five days alone together without their children on the paradise island of Medhufaru for their honeymoon.
“We honestly had the best time ever. We made memories to last a lifetime,” Billie exclusively told OK! magazine of the romantic getaway.
“We are privileged to have visited some amazing places over the years but nowhere quite compares.”
The pair’s gorgeous children Nelly, four, and Arthur, two, joined the happy couple for the ceremony – but went home with their grandparents so the newlyweds could enjoy some time alone together.
Billie added: “We obviously missed the kids so much but we had such a whirlwind of a week, it was nice to take some time for Greg and I to reflect on everything.”
Billie had previously revealed that their fairytale wedding on the island of Kuramathi was the best day of her life.
She said: “Other than the days that Nelly and Arthur were born, it was the best day of my life. It was like a fairy tale – all the stress and tears were worth it.”
Sam Faiers’ sister continued: “It’s so lovely for me to finally be a Shepherd and share a surname with my children. Marriage ties our little family together completely.”
Revealing details on her stunning dress designed by Berta, the blushing bride revealed: “As soon as I tried it on I had ‘the feeling’; when you know you know!
“Because we didn’t get married in a church I could get away with something more daring.”
A besotted Greg added: “She looked incredible in her dress.”
