Comic Relief fans were left delighted after the charity telethon aired a sequel to classic film Four Weddings and a Funeral.
The cast of the 1994 hit movie reunited for a 25th anniversary special, shown exclusively on the BBC fundraiser.
Hugh Grant, Andie McDowell and Rowan Atkinson were amongst those who returned for the one-off reunion.
After a wedding between two mystery people was teased, fans were happy to see actresses Lily James and Alicia Vikander tie the knot.
Lily played the daughter of Hugh and Andie’s characters Charles and Carrie, while Alicia portrayed Kristin Scott Thomas’ character Fiona’s daughter.
Mamma Mia star Lily stunned in a fluffy white dress as she was walked down the aisle by her on-screen father.
Alicia, meanwhile, looked stylish in a gorgeous suit as she slicked back her hair, nodding to the charitable cause with her bright red lipstick.
Viewers took to social media to gush over the film’s update, titled One Red Nose Day and a Wedding.
One wrote: “The Four Weddings sketch was fantastic! Richard Curtis has always been my biggest inspiration and this was yet another success.”
A second added: “Loved the four weddings reunion, cried, laughed, and am now hoping there will be a new film.”
A third chimed: “I loved seeing the Four Weddings cast back together again for Red Nose Day. Shame it was so short.”
One Red Nose Day and a Funeral is available to watch on BBC iPlayer as part of Comic Relief.
