Kerry Katona has opened up about her “emotional” Celebs Go Dating experience, confessing the show has made her “stronger”.
The Atomic Kitten singer joined celebrities including Pete Wicks, Sam Thompson and Megan McKenna on the line-up for series six.
Following three divorces, Kerry has enlisted the show’s dating agents Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson for help finding the man of her dreams, even joking wedding bells could be on the horizon yet again.
Speaking exclusively to OK! online, Kerry spoke honestly of how the experience has helped her.
She said: “I have found it educational, I’ve learnt a lot about myself. I think it’s made me stronger as an individual, honestly it has.”
“I love therapists, I kept them in business for years,” she then joked.

Kerry also discussed how “difficult” she found the dating process, teasing the “bad” dates viewers are yet to see.
She said: “There’s been a few, it’s been eye opening. No wonder I just get married, it’s easier!
“Dating is exhausting but it’s very funny, like I say I’ve learned a lot about myself.”
Needing dating agent Anna’s help through the process, Kerry shared of her first dating experience on the show: “Watching yourself can be cringe but the emotions are so real, I found it really difficult, Anna had to hold my hand and I was a nervous wreck.”
But Kerry insisted fans would see the real her on the show, explaining: “It’s been a long time since I’ve done a reality show and the one thing you have to be when doing one is yourself, cos the public see right through you.
“If you’re on a show and not who you are then you’re not being yourself, and I’ve always been me. I’m honest and dead open, and wear my heart on my sleeve.”
Celebs Go Dating series 6 kicks off on E4 later this month.
