Love Island star Georgia Steel has revealed fans will see a new side to her when she makes her Celebs Go Dating debut later this month.
The 2018 islander divided fans during her time on the ITV2 series, amid her repetitive declaration that she was “loyal”.
After her split from boyfriend Sam Bird, who she met on the show, following cheating claims, Georgia received a backlash from fans.
She now vows to change the public’s perception of her, teasing the “vulnerable” side to her that fans will see on her new adventure.
Speaking exclusively to OK! online, she explained: “After Love Island everyone had this massive perception of me, so it’s so nice for me to leave a different show and know I came across well.”
Georgia added of what fans can expect: “An emotional rollercoaster for sure and a few surprises. People really do develop on this, everyone does change.”
On whether she has changed since filming the series, Dani Dyer’s pal felt she had “grown” a lot since she began filming for Celebs Go Dating at the end of last year.
She said: “I definitely have noticed [a change]. When we started filming that, it was months ago and I feel like bloody hell I have really grown. I am a lot more confident within.”
Admitting she would “hate herself” if she was a viewer watching the start of the series, the former islander confessed fans will learn more about her.
She revealed: “I’ve had an absolute ball, loved it. Emotional though. The episode I’ve just watched, I would hate myself if I was watching.
“I would think she is vile, but you see the journey that I go through to see why I am like that. It’s a deeper thing.”
Celebs Go Dating returns to E4 later this month.
