James Argent took part in Haven House Children’s Hospice Ice Plunge at Parliament Hill Fields Lido over the weekend.
The The Only Way Is Essex star took part in the charitable event to help support the hospice which cares for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
During the challenge, the 30 year old jumped into the freezing cold water alongside a number of other participants.
Keeping a smile on his face throughout the day, Gemma Collins’ boyfriend ran and jumped into the pool whilst excited fans watched on.
After swimming a length of the pool, James posed for a photo where he couldn’t hide how cold he was as he wrapped his arms around himself.
On Instagram, Haven House thanked people for participating in the event, writing: “Amazing event today @parliament_hill_lido for @Havenhousech.
“Thank you to all those who braved the cold temperatures – it was a nippy 6 degrees! And raised money for @havenhousech @real_arg@nhsbartshealth @fit4allloughton Now time for a sauna and hot chocolate! #iceplunge #dancingonice #hospice#charity.”
It was a busy day for Arg, who later in the afternoon headed to Dancing On Ice to support his girlfriend Gemma – after she lost her place in the competition.
Publicly showing how proud he was of his 38 year old girlfriend after she was booted off, James paid tribute to her with a gushing message on Twitter.
He wrote: “Congrats @GemmaCollins1 You made @dancingonice 2019! You kept us entertained & GC fever swept the nation.
“You dealt with so much pressure & stress, it was all eyes on you but you kept going & didn’t quit!
“You improved so much & worked so hard! You truly are the #RealityQueen.”
Fans also praised Gemma for her performance on the show, as others mourned her departure.
