One injured after wall collapses in Bloomingdale’s flagship store

A prop wall fell and injured a person in the basement level of Bloomingdale’s Midtown flagship store Thursday morning, authorities said.

The incident happened about 10:10 a.m. inside the 815,000-square-foot high-end department store on Lexington Avenue and East 59th Street, officials said.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, according to officials.

The FDNY received initial reports that a wall collapsed on a person.
