Seann Walsh has been snubbed from Strictly Come Dancing’s live tour after locking lips with Katya Jones.
The 32 year old comedian was caught snogging his dance partner, who is married to fellow show star Neil Jones, despite also having a girlfriend of his own.
While the pair both apologised for their actions and continued on the show until they were eliminated, it is now reported the controversial kiss has cost him a place on the popular tour.
It has not yet been decided whether Katya will be returning. An insider told the publication: “The Strictly tour is a really wholesome, family-friendly event.
“It’s all about good, clean fun and we don’t think a man who snogs married women in the street fits that image.”
Seann’s absence is the first time a celebrity has not been invited by BBC.
It also comes after his ex girlfriend released a savage statement about him following their kiss, branding him “controlling” and shockingly claiming she had her suspicions about his relationship with Katya for a while.
Sharing the post with her 4,877 Twitter followers, Rebecca wrote: “Hello there, My name is Rebecca Humphries and I am not a victim
She added: “It’s incredibly good of Sean(n) and Katya to apologise in the media. I have received nothing, other than the support of my family, friends, and a host of strangers on the internet who all wanted to make sure I was OK.”
Detailing the pictures, and the eye witness accounts which claimed Seann and Katya were “snogging like teenagers,” Rebecca added: “Those pictures were taken on October 3rd. It was my birthday.
“I was alone at home when Sean texted at 10pm saying the two of them were going for one innocent drink. We spoke and I told him, not for the first time, that his actions over the past three weeks had led me to believe something inappropriate was going on.
“He aggressively, and repeatedly, called me a psycho/ nuts/ mental. As he has done countless times throughout our relationship when I’ve questioned his inappropriate, hurtful behaviour.
“It’s important also to recognise that in these situations those who hold power over you are insecure and fragile, and their need for control comes from a place of vulnerability. I think it certainly does in Sean’s case.
“Despite everything, I hope he gets what he wants from this. I’m not sorry I took the cat though.”
Seann spoke on Strictly: “It Takes Two following Rebecca’s comments, telling Zoe Ball that while he was sorry for his actions, he wasn’t the person he was painted out to be.”
