I’m A Celebrity: Holly Willoughby’s Bushtucker blunder amid Rachel Riley quip

I’m A Celeb: Holly Willoughby made a Bushtucker Trial blunder on Friday [ITV]

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’s newbie host Holly Willoughby made a blunder in the latest Bushtucker Trial, during which she made a cheeky joke about fellow TV presenter Rachel Riley.

The mum of three was tasked with getting to grips with the scoring system for the Rancid Races, which would not only allow opportunity to gain food for the camp but also provide immunity from eviction for some camp members.

During the eating challenge, which saw the campmates forced to down a variety of smoothies made from fish eyes and jungle critters, Holly, 37, took to the board.

Dec announced the challenge and said “Today you’re all competing in the Rancid Races, there are five races, at the start of each one the rangers will bring out 4 identical drinks and put them on the podiums in front of us.  We will tell you what’s in the drinks and you will then decide between yourselves who will take on the challenge.”

Holly continued: “The four chosen celebrities will then go head to head in the drinking race, the first person to finish their drink and put their empty glass back on the podium will win a point for their team – there’s no points for 2nd, 3rdor 4thplace.

“As this is a team event, you must all attempt one drink.”

seeing light of the situation Holly then quipped:  “I wouldn’t get a job on Countdown,” making reference to host Rachel’s Channel 4 role.

Her co-host, who usually presents with BFF A, could only laugh along.

The final leader board was Galahs (6), Roos (5), Koalas (4) and The Underdogs (3)., meaning The Underdogs – comprised of Noel Edmonds and Rita Simons – would definitely face the public vote the same night, for the first jungle eviction of 2018.
