Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham shot to fame over the summer after winning Love Island.
The couple were watched by the nation as they fell in love on the ITV2 matchmaking show.
After leaving the Spanish villa, the pair bagged a chance to have their own spin-off reality show and now a source has revealed to The Sun that Dani, 22, put in demands as to what could be filmed.
The source revealed: “Jack and Dani were watched by the nation for eight weeks on Love Island – but that’s very different to having cameras in your home capturing your every movement on a day to basis.
“They weren’t very comfortable with it at first – and Dani, in particular, was quite vocal about not wanting her arguments with Jack filmed.
“There were some complaints that Dani refused to give any ‘reality’ to the show and she struggled to be as natural as she was during the summer.
“In the end bosses were questioning whether the series should even be aired but equally didn’t want to disappoint the fans.”
However, a spokesman for ITVBe told the publication: “We have a great relationship with Jack and Dani and have enjoyed working with them throughout the series. We’re really pleased with how it is taking shape.”
OK! online has contacted a representative for Jack and Dani for comment.
The revelations follow on from Jack admitting rows with girlfriend Dani during reality show filming left him in tears.
Earlier this week, the stationary seller spilt the beans on arguing with his other half.
The 27-year-old said: “We do have arguments but people can’t think the world is going to end because we’ve had a row. It’s a normal thing having an argument.
“Filming the show wasn’t easy. It was tough, it was intense – you’re on camera most days of the week all day long.
Jack continued to say: “We had bickers during filming just like any other couple. I got emotional with Dani doing it; I even had a couple of tear-ups. But Dani and I got through it.”
