Rylan Clark-Neal has exclusively revealed the reason he won’t be hosting This Morning alongside his doting husband Dan ever again.
The 30-year-old host, who along with Dan were the first same-sex couple to host the show, opened up about presenting duties after taking a break from the programme earlier in the year.
When asked if he would ever return to host the show with his husband, he exclusively told OK! magazine: “Absolutely not, no!”
“I loved it, and we were really honoured to be the first same-sex couple to do that, but I love the fact my relationship is private.
“We’re working together on stuff, but Dan does bits behind the scenes.
“Everyone knows we’re married, but I don’t want to rub it in people’s faces.
“You row, you laugh, you cry, it’s a normal relationship. It’s exactly what I want.”
Rylan tied the knot in 2015 with Dan, who has a teenage son called Cameron from a previous relationship.
Speaking about his role as a step-dad, Rylan said: “I love Cameron like he’s my own,” adding: “I’d love to have kids one day.”
The former X Factor also opened up on the loss of Big Brother after it was axed earlier this year – the show that caused him to meet his husband.
Revealing what had been the highlight for him, he said: “Winning it and finding a husband from it! No genuinely, my team.
“We’re one massive family. Fingers crossed Big Brother will be picked up somewhere.
“I always said would never leave Big Brother unless I as sacked or not wanted, so if it does go elsewhere and they want a new host then fair enough, but I’ll be devastated. Big Brother changed my life.”
