Kate Middleton has revealed Prince George’s adorable nickname for his father Prince William.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, spoke to royal fans in Leicester when she let slip the future King’s nickname.
Kate and William, also 36, visited Leicester City Football Club to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in a tragic helicopter crash.
A well wisher asked how their children — five year old George, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, seven months — were, which led Kate to spill on the sweet moniker.
“They’re doing well, thank you. They’re excited for Christmas time. They’ve started all their Christmas songs and the Christmas trees are going up. It’s exciting,” she said.
“Louis is getting bigger, I can’t believe he’s seven months, he’s a big boy.”
According to People, a season ticket holder of the football club reported that Kate revealed George’s nickname for his dad.
Fiona Burgess said: “Kate said that William was playing football with the children last night and one of them said, I think it was George, ‘Are you playing football tomorrow, Pops?’”
Kate reportedly also spoke about her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle’s pregnancy, after she announced she is expecting Prince Harry’s first child next spring.
“It’s such a special time to have all the kiddies and a cousin for George and Charlotte as well as Louis so it’ll be really special,” she gushed.
Her comments come after reports that Kate and Meghan don’t get on, with a Royal insider telling the Daily Mail: “Kate and Meghan are very different people. They don’t really get on.”
Both women have attended several royal engagements together, and look more than happy in each other’s company. However, Meghan’s Hollywood persona is said to have shaken up the royal family with some claiming it has upset the balance in the household.
