Christmas is fast approaching and supermarkets and brands everywhere are coming up with unique and delicious treats to make December the tastiest festive period ever.
Greggs has delighted fans with its scrumptious Christmas menu, whilst Costa’s festive menu had customers rushing to its stores.
It’s Lidl, however, who may have created the tastiest, and certainly most unique, festive treat.
The supermarket has released a Festive Fest deep Fill Sandwich and Festive Wrap – which includes a festive coleslaw made with Brussels Sprouts.
The wrap contains all the typical elements associated with a christmas treat – turkey, bacon, stuffing, cranberries – as well as the festive coleslaw.
Lidl’s Festive Wrap costs just £1.79 and contains 479 calories.
The Festive Feast Deep filled sandwich on the other hand, opts for a onion and sage mayonnaise as opposed to the sprout coleslaw.
The sandwich contains: turkey, sausage, bacon, sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce, fried onions, and the onion and sage mayo on wheat bread.
For just £1.69, the Festive Feast sandwich is an absolute bargain.
Guess it’s time to head down to the nearest Lidl store to grab one of the delicious christmassy treats.
