Jennie McAlpine has shared a sweet message following the birth of her first daughter.
The 34 year old actress gave birth to a baby girl named Hilda on 29 October.
She has now thanked fans for their well wishes as well as sharing an adorable image from before the newborn’s birth.
Writing to her 243,000 Instagram followers, Jennie said: “Thanks for all the lovely messages and wishes for our little girl.”
Posing alongside husband Chris Farr, she then sweetly added: “Can’t imagine there was a time she wasn’t here,” adding the family emoji.
In the image, Jennie smiles as Chris leans his head toward the Coronation Street star’s at the time pregnant stomach.
The sweet message comes just days after the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! favourite uploaded an image of an adorable message that her eldest son Albert, three, wrote for his family.
Jennie once again to Instagram to share a sweet photo of a drawing her son wrote to herself and Chris addressed to “mummy, daddy and Hilda” adorned with some paper flowers.
“Big brother getting prouder of his little sister every day,” Jennie wrote alongside the snap of the drawing.
Jennie announced the birth of her daughter on 30 October, writing: “Our newest addition arrived yesterday. Mummy and Daddy very happy. Big brother very proud of his little sister Hilda. We’re all in love.”
Leanne Battersby actress Jane Danson was one of the first of Jennie’s co-stars to congratulate her, writing: “Congratulations to you all . Sending lots of love.”
Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor, soon wrote: “Ahhh yay! Huge congratulations to you all Jen… sooo happy for you! Xxxx.”
