Cheryl has opened up on wanting her mum, Joan Callaghan, to move from Newcastle to Surrey to help her look after baby Bear, who she shares with ex Liam Payne and split with in July.
The 35 year old spoke up on her ideal set up during Jessie Ware’s new podcast, Table Manners.
During the Interview, Jessie asked the former X Factor judge: “Who’s got the baby tonight?”
The mum of one replied: “Me Mam,” she admitted.
“I make her travel across the country with me a lot, she still lives in Newcastle.”
Adding: “I don’t know how she does it.”
Jessie probed further: “Would you ever live with her?”
The Promise This singer replied: “I would like her to live with me but she will not, she doesn’t love London, she’s a proper Geordie.”
Cheryl’s confession comes ahead of the beauty preparing to release her new new song, Love Made Me Do it, on Friday 9 November, after taking a four-year break from the music industry.
The brunette told The Sun that she needed the break away from the spotlight “for her sanity” as she “had enough”.
Opening up further she added: “I needed it for my sanity. I honestly didn’t know how much I needed it until I did it. I’d just had enough.
“I wasn’t inspired, I was jaded. It felt like a negative space I was living in and then you get to the point where it’s like ‘What is the point?’
“I could be doing something I hate doing and feel the same way, so why am I like putting myself through this?
“I like a balance. I like peace and harmony in my life.”
