Pride of Britain Awards had viewers in tears on Tuesday night.
As stars from around the country gathered to pay tribute to some of Britain’s most inspiring people, there was one little girl that had the country glued to their screens.
Ella Chadwick has suffered with kidney problems all her life, but when she was just three years old she was able to undergo a transplant.
Since then, she has focused her efforts on fundraising to help others like her survive similar conditions, despite the fact she was once told she would only have “days” to live.
As a present to Ella, X Factor judges Simon Cowell, Ayda Field and Robbie Williams appeared on stage to surprise her.
Ella revealed that she’s a huge fan of Disney musical Frozen, and Simon gave her the chance to begin a singalong with the audience.
Fans rushed to social media to share their amazement at Ella’s bravery, and compliment her outlook on life after such a tough beginning.
“What a truly beautiful little girl inside and out! Crying already #PrideofBritain,” wrote one fan.
A second viewer tweeted: ‘I’m literally bawling these people are so brave man #PrideofBritain”.
“Ella is actually bringing me to tears, she’s so damn cute #PrideofBritain,” added a third fan.
While a fourth added: “David Beckham walking in the room and I’m broken Ella is such a special young lady!! #prideofbritain”.
