Large bottles of Baileys are now just £12 at some supermarkets – but you’ll have to act fast

Baileys is a firm favourite winter beverage and is a Christmas tradition in most households.

So it will come as wonderful news that some supermarkets have slashed prices of the cream liquor – which now has its own advent calendar – in time for the festive season.

Asda, Tesco, and Ocado have cut the price of the one litre bottles to just £12 from £20 (£21 at Ocado) and they’ve timed the reduction perfectly.

At Asda the discount is part of a rollback so shoppers will have to act fast to get their hands on the temporarily cheaper bottle.

Tesco is selling a Baileys yule log for £5 [Tesco]

The price drop comes just after Tesco started selling a Christmas Baileys Yule Log for just £5.

Tesco describes the pudding on their site as: “A soft chocolate sponge, rolled with a chocolate flavour frosting and coated with milk chocolate.

“Masked with a Baileys frosting and finished with bronze chocolate curls and a chocolate plaque.”

The log serves eight people and will only set you back £5 this Christmas.
