Baileys is a firm favourite winter beverage and is a Christmas tradition in most households.
So it will come as wonderful news that some supermarkets have slashed prices of the cream liquor – which now has its own advent calendar – in time for the festive season.
Asda, Tesco, and Ocado have cut the price of the one litre bottles to just £12 from £20 (£21 at Ocado) and they’ve timed the reduction perfectly.
At Asda the discount is part of a rollback so shoppers will have to act fast to get their hands on the temporarily cheaper bottle.
According to The Sun Online, Tesco’s offer is valid until 12 November.
But at Ocado customers can grab a bargain bottle until 27 November.
Asda also have the discount on Baileys’ other flavours, including their 50cl Chocolat Luxe edition which is currently £12 from £18, and their Cream Orange Truffle which is also £12, down from £15.
Ocado have also made reductions on some of the other flavours.
The price drop comes just after Tesco started selling a Christmas Baileys Yule Log for just £5.
Tesco describes the pudding on their site as: “A soft chocolate sponge, rolled with a chocolate flavour frosting and coated with milk chocolate.
“Masked with a Baileys frosting and finished with bronze chocolate curls and a chocolate plaque.”
The log serves eight people and will only set you back £5 this Christmas.
